Port Canaveral is located on the east coast of central Florida and it is one of the most popular cruise ports on the planet. Orlando International Airport (OIA) is the main hub for air travel to and from Central Florida. The airport is home to 57 airlines and more than 34 million passengers walk through its terminals each year. There are a few things to keep in mind about parking if you’re planning to drive. Port Canaveral parking is very secure. It is paved, gated, and under 24-hour surveillance. Parking costs $15/day for vehicles up to 20 feet in length; $8/half day for vehicles up to 20 feet in length, and $26/day for vehicles over 20 feet. Payment for the entire stay is in advance and the port accepts cash, Visa, MasterCard, and Traveler’s Checks issued in U.S. dollars.

As stated at on the Port Canaveral website, Port Canaveral is located in Brevard County in the middle of Florida’s east coast. It is easily reachable by an efficient system of highways. Limited-access State Road 528 (The Beachline), State Road 520 and State Road 50 are the Port’s east-west highway links. These highways intersect with U.S. Highway 1, Interstate 95, the Florida Turnpike and Interstate 4 to provide excellent access to and from the Port for Florida and the nation.
