Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas

The Ship

Offering the same cutting-edge technology as other Oasis Class ships in Royal Caribbean’s line, Harmony of the Sea features many innovative amenities that make cruising easier and more enjoyable. Passengers can use RFID-enabled bracelets to make onboard purchases faster and more convenient. They can download the Royal IQ app to their mobile devices, and then make reservations for restaurants and take care of other necessities through the app. Going beyond ease, Harmony of the Seas keeps cruising harmonious, to the planet this time, by being more fuel-efficient than any other Royal Caribbean vessel.

The Itineraries

Harmony of the Seas’ maiden voyage sets sail in 2016. She’ll cruise from Barcelona, and then head to Rome with stops scheduled in Mediterranean ports like Palma (Mallorca), Naples, and Florence. Cruisers will have the opportunity to sail on Harmony of the Seas on seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises throughout 2016 and 2017.

Dining

Harmony of the Seas’ restaurants include a mix of casual and upscale eateries. There are four main dining venues that passengers can enjoy for early, mid-day, and late-night seating – all as part of the My Time Dining program. These venues are free and they include the American Icon Grill (a comfort food eatery) and Chi (flavorful gourmet options). Other restaurants onboard Harmony of the Seas include Coastal Kitchen (available only to suite guests) and The Grand (every night is formal night at this eatery).

Bars and Clubs

Bars and clubs on Harmony of the Seas are where relaxing, mingling, and sipping amazing cocktails takes place. Folks have the Boot & Bonnet Pub (English-style pub serving pints), Rising Tide Bar (go for a ride as the bar ascends and descends three decks), and Boleros (Latin-style lounge featuring live music) to enjoy every night of the week.

Activities

On Harmony of the Seas, there are many fun activities to participate in like riding a zip line, taking a turn on a waterslide, surfing in the FlowRider pool, climbing a rock wall, and playing mini golf. Most of these activities happen under the bright blue sky or the starry night. Harmony of the Seas also features an arcade and boardwalk, Kids’ Avenue play space, Vitality at Sea Spa & Fitness Center, ice-skating rink, casino, Royal Promenade shopping area, and live music concert hall.
