There are plenty of reasons that people go on cruises. They want to travel, they want to spend time with their family, or they want to spend some time enjoying the amazing activities onboard. But we all know one of the more important reasons that people go on cruises: the food! If you’ve never been on a cruise before, you’d be blown away by some of the amazing dining that is offered on many cruise ships. Aspiring maritime foodies, take notes, as these are three cruise ships that travelers point to as some of the best for dining.
Celebrity is a great cruise line for a whole list of reasons, with their food being near the top of that list. Most of their ships are known to have great eats, but the Celebrity Equinox is commonly pointed to by guests as having the best food of the entire fleet. The free dining isn’t too much, but there are a number of specialty restaurants that will really knock your socks off. Those who book suites can get into Luminae, a more modern spot known for high-class spins on classic dishes. But most people’s favorite restaurant seems to be Murano, a romantic spot known for shockingly delicious dishes.
Allure of the Seas
Allure of the Seas is one ship out of Royal Caribbean’s large fleet. Royal might not be the first cruise line that pops into your mind when you think of fine dining, but the Allure does it right by offering delectable food that won’t hurt your wallet too much. Cruise critics rave about the food onboard, and guests are equally as enthusiastic. The Allure is unique in that the free dining that is included in your ticket is known to be as creative as it is tasty. There are so many options here that you’ll be trying a new and delicious spot every night. Make sure to check out the Boardwalk Donut Shop on deck six.
Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity
Of course, we couldn’t get through this article without bringing up a luxury line. Crystal Cruises is definitely known for being high class, and their restaurants are no exception to this rule. For this one, we’re mentioning both Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity, as they both feature a spot called the Vintage Room. It’s pretty much the best date spot on the seven seas. Only 14 people make it in each night, and each table gets treated to eight different courses. Trust us, this will be one of the highlights of your trip.
Clearly cruises aren’t just about the destinations; they’re also about the food you eat along the way! Any of these ships would be an excellent choice for those looking to treat themselves to some amazing dining.
