Born July 3, 1962 in Syracuse, New York and considered one of the top 100 movie stars of all times, Thomas Cruise Mapother IV (Tom Cruise) has starred in roughly 28 movies producing an average box office gross of $99.9 million. In the 80’s, Cruise was famous for movies such as Risky Business and Top Gun and in the 90’s he amazed audiences in films such as Interview with a Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles, Mission: Impossible, and Jerry Macguire.
Tom Cruise made his acting debut playing a character named “Billy� in the 1981 film Endless Love starring Brooke Shields. Although the part was small, playing Billy led to a string of starring roles that Cruise still seems to be racking up today.
