More European River Cruises to Book this Summer

We got so excited talking about river cruises in our last post that we thought we’d tell you about a few more. For a spectacular vacation next year, consider booking one of the following European River Cruises that will let you encounter spectacular scenery, amazing food, and beautiful people who enjoy the wonders of the world just like you.

Crystal River Cruises

Crystal River Cruises is a high-end cruise company that offers ultra-upscale cruises on Europe’s best rivers. The line will launch four new river ships next year (called river yachts), sometime between June and August. We’ve suspect that these ships will be elegantly understated, like the others in the Crystal fleet, and that they’ll have thrilling new features to keep guests loving Crystal River Cruises’ experiences into the future. You can book your reservations now for the new-ship journeys at two-for-one pricing.

Emerald Waterways

Emerald Waterways is a new river cruise line that started in 2014 and is a favorite because of its affordable options for European river cruising. Sister company to upscale Scenic Tours, Emerald Waterways offers value-priced cruises on 182-passenger “Star Ships” that venture on rivers in Europe like the Rhine, Rhone, Danube, and Main. One of the things that keeps travelers booking these river cruises with Emerald Waterways is that all of the line’s ships offer a heated swimming pool in a stunning space complete with a retractable roof. You don’t find many river ships with this big-ship feature. In addition, Emerald Waterways’ ships have a 25-foot movie theater, and pricing on these ships is inclusive of all gratuities.

Avalon Waterways

For your next-year’s river cruise, consider a journey with Avalon Waterways. Seventy percent of the ships in Avalon Waterways’ fleet feature suites with beds that are pointed toward the outside scenery. These accommodations also offer floor-to-ceiling, panoramic sliding glass doors instead of interior-facing walls. Avalon Waterways’ line of river vessels includes 16 ships, each of which has 200-square-foot staterooms and elegant dining areas. Shore excursions with Ama Waterways are plentiful, so you’ll have many chances to get to know local culture.

If you’ve cruised along a European river with any of these cruise lines, we’d love to hear about your experience in the comments below.
