With 2021 coming to an end, it’s time to start selecting what adventures will be on your future calendar. What about an Argentina cruise? Argentina is home to some of the most fantastic locations in all of South America, and it’s a great jumping-off place for cruises. Whether you’re an adventurer at heart or just want to relax on some beautiful beaches, Argentina has something for you. Here are three great Argentinean cruise itineraries taking place in the next two years.
Argentina, Rio and Sao Paulo from Celebrity Cruises
If you’ve never been to South America before, this itinerary will act as an excellent primer. While only a few of this cruise’s nine nights are spent in Argentina, the other locations are more than worth the extra travel. It begins in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, and you’ll be given four days in the country before heading out to sea. The ship then stops at two ports in Uruguay and finishes up in Argentina. You’ll get the chance to explore Buenos Aires, the beautiful and historic capital of the country. This cruise departs on December 12th, 2022, and cabins start at $1072 per person. South America and the Chilean Fjords from Viking
An 18-day cruise from Viking, this itinerary has a focus on Chilean fjords. Despite this, it actually traverses multiple South American countries, and a good amount of time is spent in Argentina. You can either begin or end in Buenos Aires, but that isn’t the only Argentinian location that is visited. Puerto Madryn is next up, and you get to spend an entire day at the mind-boggling Ushuaia as well. This itinerary is certainly for those looking to spend a bit more time in South America and travel in luxury, but the price still isn’t too bad (contextually) at $6999. All the details are here.
17-Night Falklands and Fjords Voyage from Azamara
Beginning in Buenos Aires, this itinerary visits some of the coolest locations in Argentina in addition to the legendary Falkland Islands. Some of the other Argentinian spots include Ushuaia (the southernmost city in the world, by the way), the Beagle Channel, and Puerto Madryn. If you’re someone who loves nature and enjoys scenic cruising, this is an itinerary that should be pretty high on your list. The cabins begin at $4239 per person. You can read more about it on Azamara’s website.
Have you ever been to Argentina? If not, is it on your travel bucket list? It’s definitely on ours!
