Cruises For 2019 are Better than Ever!

Cruises continue to be a favorite of almost every demographic for one reason. It is just very simple. Passengers get to see great destinations and enjoy some amazing food while relaxing and letting the crew worry about all of the little details. And now that cruise ships are like floating cities, there is certain to be enough to keep everyone in the family entertained and having a great time.

And in 2019 you can be one of the first to “test drive” one of the eight new ships that will be joining the ocean tours. Three new ships will be debuting in Europe including the MSC Grandiosa, the MSC Bellissima and Sky Princess, the Norwegian Encore will sail from Miami, the Celebrity Edge will sail from Ft. Lauderdale, the Carnival Panorama will dock in Long Beach, and the Celebrity Flora will call Galapagos home. These new ships will offer passengers the latest in luxurious accommodations and some of the best entertainment and activities available on land or sea.

The cruise industry is always listening to what passengers are saying and what potential passengers would like to see on cruise ships. This year cruise lines are offering some extended port visits to allow passengers more time to embrace the culture and soak up all that these locations have to offer. And while on shore, there will be some amazing new excursions for the thrill seeker that lives in each of us. The dining on this year’s cruises is also taking a step forward. There will be less of the formalities of dining rooms and formal attire but far more choices for specialty dining and open seating to mingle with other guests. And finally, several cruise lines have heard the requests for adults-only cruises. These cruises feature an 18 and older age limit and provide a more peaceful and tranquil setting for empty nesters, young professional couples with no children and parents who just need a break from the kids.

What hasn’t changed this year is the favorite cruise destinations. The Caribbean is always in demand for its tropical warmth and beauty. Guests love to island hop around this region and take in all the sights and sounds that can be found in this welcoming area. Europe is also a big hit for the longer cruises. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the D-Day Invasion, and there will be many cruises heading to Normandy to commemorate the event.

Cruising is a great way to travel while also getting to enjoy quality time with family and friends. The crew is there to meet your every need and destinations have never been better.
