How does a seven-night cruise filled with music, comedy, and “general nerdery” sound? Good? Great? We think it sounds amazing. If you do to, you’ll want to read up on JoCo Cruise 2017 and then reserve your space on the cruise before it’s sold out.
What is JoCo Cruise 2017
JoCo Cruise 2017 is a lively, thought-provoking, and fun cruise that will turn all of Holland America’s MS Westerdam into a space for singing, dancing, laughing, and generally having a geeky-good time. The cruise sets sail from San Diego, California on March 4th and it returns to the sunny California port on March 11th.
The Itinerary
JoCo Cruise 2017 will cruise to ports of call like Cabo San Lucas, Pichilingue, and Lorego. The adventure lets arts enthusiasts sail along the Sea of Cortez en route to beautiful locales, with stunning scenery all around and many opportunities to explore unique culture.
The Entertainment
JoCo Cruise 2017 performers include Jonathan Coulton, Paul and Storm, and many other talented entertainers across the music, comedy, writing, and gaming genres. JoCo Cruise 2017 is the 7th cruise in the annual cruise series, and it will, as always, be chock-full of performances and amazement.
The Ship
MS Westerdam has been fully chartered for JoCo Cruise 2017, so you’ll be sailing only with other cruisers sharing your charming interests. You’ll take over the boat, from the dining rooms to the pool deck, gathering around and watching some of the most talented artists performing and expressing themselves today. As you cruise on MS Westerdam, you’ll have access to all of the ship’s wonderful features like clubs and lounges (visit BB King’s Blues’ Club), staterooms with ocean views and private verandas, Dutch heritage art collections, and many other spaces and activities that make a cruise memorable.
For the uninitiated, you can visit the JoCo Cruise 2017 website to learn more about the antics that happen on the cruise and to get pricing. You’ll even be able to see some photos of last year’s JoCo Cruise and read up on FAQ’s. Frequent JoCo Cruise cruisers (who are lovingly called “Sea Monkeys”) usually post about their adventures on the JoCo Cruise social media pages, so check out the banter over on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
