Alabama has a population of 4.7 million and it is the home of homeport city Mobile, Alabama. Nature buffs and other outdoor enthusiasts (if you arrive a day early) can enjoy birding trails, Alligator Alley (observe more than 100 alligators in their natural habitat), Bellingrath Gardens (a 905-acre semitropical forest), or a take a boat tour.

Alabama Western Caribbean Cruise Schedule

Guests departing form Mobile, Alabama to the Western Caribbean can select from four, five, and seven-day cruises. Carnival is the terminals top cruise line, and most cruises are aboard Carnival Elation. The four-day cruise calls at Cozumel, Mexico, while the five-day cruise calls at Progresso, Yucatan, and Cozumel, Mexico. Calica, Mexico may also be on the menu. Alabama Western Caribbean cruises are quite reasonable, starting at $249 for a four-day cruise and $259 for a five-day cruise. Cruises are Thursday-Monday, Monday-Saturday, or Saturday-Thursday.

Seven-day Western Caribbean cruises run Saturday-Saturday. Ports of call include Cozumel, Mexico, Isla Roatan, Bay Islands, and Belize or Montego bay, Lamaica, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, and Cozumel, Mexico. Seven-day cruises start at $499 for an interior room, $579 for an oceanview, and $899 for a suite.
