In fact, passenger terminals D and E are considered the most modern cruise facilities in the world. According to the official Port of Miami, special design features and amenities include “a VIP lounge, a high-tech security screening facility for embarkation, airline counters and an airport-style conveyor baggage system. Additionally, each features a one-stop federal multi-agency facility for passenger processing.”

Port of Miami Directions and Parking Information

The following directions and parking information was obtained directly from the official Port of Miami website. Information obtained from other websites without a link to the Port of Miami website may not be accurate.

Directions From I-95:

Take I-95 north or south to I-395. Follow the directional signs to the Biscayne Boulevard exit. When you get to Biscayne Blvd., make a right. Go to 5th Street which converts to Port Blvd. (landmark: American Airlines Basketball Arena) make a left and go over the Port bridge. Follow directional signs to designated terminal.

Parking is available in facilities located in front of individual cruise terminals. No reservations are required to park at the Port of Miami. Long-term parking for a regular vehicle occupying a single space is $20 per day. Short term parking is $7.00 if you are coming to see someone off but, not intended for overnight parking. All Cruises in the current itineraries would fall under Long Term Parking.

Additional Parking Information

·There is no Valet Parking at the Port of Miami.
·Parking is available in facilities located in front of individual cruise terminals.
·No reservations are required to park at the Port of Miami.
·Rates are $20 per day (long-term) and $7 per day (short term). Prices vary for larger vehicles (ie., oversized vans, recreational vehicles and vehicles with trailers). If the vehicle is over 20’ in length then an additional $20 is added per day.
·All oversized vehicles can only park in Lot #2.
·Currently garages C, G, J, and Lot # 2 accept either cash, credit (Visa, MasterCard, American Express only), or any major U.S. Travelers check.
·The Seaport offers a shuttle service for cruise passengers, one of which is wheelchair accessible. The shuttle will pick you up at the parking garage/lot and take you to the appropriate cruise terminal location.
·Due to security precautions car/shuttle rental company facilities are not located on the Port of Miami premises.
