Royal Caribbean’s Ovation of the Seas

Royal Caribbean’s fleet of ocean liners allows hundreds of thousands of passengers each year to experience the wonder of cruising on the open sea. Each ship in Royal Caribbean’s fleet is a special vehicle for cruising and discovering the world. One, in particular, deserves a standing applause.

It’s Ovation of the Seas. And, it’s the third of 3 next-gen ships to come out of the Royal Caribbean line.

Let’s talk about all of things that are praise worthy on Royal Caribbean’s Ovation of the Seas.

The Ship

Ovation of the Seas is a cruise vessel that features technological innovations throughout, just as its sister ships Quantum and Anthem of the Seas do. Ovation of the Seas is a 167,800-ton, 4,180-passenger cruise liner that offers the largest entertainment complex at sea. The ship was designed to wow, from bow to stern. It takes cruising to a new level, providing some of the most advanced features on any ocean vessel.

The Itinerary

Ovation of the Seas’ maiden sailing is a 52-night Global Odyssey from Southampton, UK to Tianjin. In addition to this itinerary, you can choose from a 7-night England to Barcelona cruise, a 14-night India and Malaysia cruise, a 16-night Barcelona to Dubai cruise, and a 12-night exotic cruise from Singapore to Tianjin.

Dining

When it’s time to eat on Ovation of the Seas, passengers have many choices. Royal Caribbean’s Dynamic Dining program is the highlight of dining on Ovation of the Seas. Cruisers can choose meals from 18 restaurants, opting for free and paid plans. Some of the many standout restaurants on Ovation of the Seas include Jamie’s Italian (from celebrity chef Jamie Oliver), Devinly Decadence at Solarium Bistro (under culinary direction of Devin Alexander), and Michaels Genuine Pub (by Michael Schwartz).

Nightlife

Ovation of the Seas’ guests will see technology and innovation even in the ship’s bar. At Bionic Bar, it’s possible to order a drink from a 2-armed robot that will mix your libation right in front of you!
