Royal Caribbean’s newest Oasis Class ship, Harmony of the Seas is nearing her maiden cruise this coming May. And when she sets sail, she will be the largest cruise ship in operation. The goal is to provide guests with all of the favored features from the other Oasis Class ships while offering some revolutionary firsts as well.
Outdoor Fun
The Harmony of the Seas will provide guests of all ages with amazing outdoor adventures. The tallest slide at sea can be found on Harmony and is called the Abyss. This ten-story plunge is enough to make even the bravest of guests a little bit nervous. And the Perfect Storm is a pair of racing waterslides for those with a more competitive side. Or fly along the Zip Line to get a great view of the Boardwalk from nine decks up. And then there are the favorites that are modeled after sister ship features such as the climbing wall, amazing swimming pools and not one but two Flo-Rider surf pools.
Indoor Fun
When you are ready to relax indoors, adults can head to the Bionic Bar or the Rising Tide Bar while kids hang out in the teen disco or in the supervised Adventure Ocean Voyager Club. Then the entire family can meet up for ice skating, a ride on the carousel, or even take in a show. And that is barely scratching the surface of what this amazing new ship will offer for activities and entertainment.
Destinations
Harmony of the Seas will call Orlando home and will offer two tours initially. The Eastern Caribbean trip will visit CocoCay in the Bahamas as well as Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas and Basseterre, St Kitts and St Nevis before returning back to Orlando. The Western Caribbean visits CocoCay in the Bahamas and then Cozumel, Mexico before heading out to Roatan, Honduras and then a final stop in Puerto Costa Maya, Mexico before returning home to Orlando. Each of these trips books for seven nights and cabins start at just under $800 USD.
